This labyrinth is at The Light Center, also in Black Mountain. It has two beautiful meditation room, paths to Inspiration Point and down through the woods to a pond. As I walked it I was thinking about my lavender at home, picture below. I took a picture to celebrate the new growth. My azaleas are also blooming. The thought was about if people like plants are different in regards to blooming. My lavender only blooms on new growth and the azaleas only bloom on last years growth. One of those thoughts that make me go ..Hum……
I took a ride to the Blue Ridge Parkway near my home to try and get a picture for the header of my blog and sunset pictures. I got pics but will have to keep working for THE picture. The Parkway has mile markers along the length- this is one with wildflowers. The following are all taken near this marker and the reason I did not get to the hilltop until just after sunset. The one is vines growing down the rocks and securing trees that grow out of rock. Amazing to me.
As I typed the title I can hear (in my head) my father say “Money doesn’t grow on trees.”
Silver dollars of a sort do grow on plants have opened their lovely purple flowers.
By fall they will have round paper money on them.
The hosta have unfurled their flags- the same circle seen before and my apple tree has bloomed.
