View from the bedroom window. Dad’s lilies and the Rhododendron . Did you know that rhododendron is from the greek meaning rose tree. On some “local” mountain tops there are rhododendron balds that grow 8-10 feet tall. Flowers arching over your head. Perhaps that is the weekend road-trip.

A 10 ft tall Rhododendron…. now that would be a gorgeous sight!

They are amazing arching way over our heads. They are not easy to walk through because they grow so close with the really tall ones in the middle.

I love them, but I’ve never had luck with Rhododendrons. Probably just never found the right spot.
