First thing I see is the red hot Pokers are touching the ground. We did have a very hard rain but unlike other flowers that get blown over with storm, the flowers are still right-side up. Very tricky. So we stroll around back and see the lavendar is blooming. Yeah Yes, it smells wonderful The roses are budded but not quite ready yet. This is the lane in front of my house with a built-in aerobic hill.

I first tried a much closer picture and got the same hazy effect. Once I walked far enough back the haze was gone.
